Room is perfect other than condensation which obstructed the river room upgrade I paid for. Issues- 1) Valet-bellman was on break at 1:30 pm when we arrived, which led to issues of parking on the street and front desk holding my keys. 2) $2 Expedia breakfast cards were not filled out upon arrival and they made me dig out my Expedia reservation to show I had breakfast included the next morning at the front desk and we stood there while she hand wrote out the dates for 3 nights- a total of 6 cards and it was annoying to say the least. 3) DESTINATION FEE is awful plan and was very confusing and ridiculous. I was told I had $20 to use at Bill's Burger or West Bar on site and this would be taken off my bill. NO- I was charged the destination fee as Expedia had said on the statement, but this fee is more like a country club restaurant payment that you HAVE to pay the Destination Fee, but you can use toward food and drink if you remember/can organize . 4) Lastly, as we left very early before 6 am, we were told the parking lot was "right across the street" and we could retrieve our car there, that someone is always there. No parking lot right across the street. It's across the street and then to the right across the street. Just more annoying stuff. I spent so much time communicating with the front desk. I had thought this would be our hotel, which is at a convenient location for our travel that way a few times a year, but I don't know if I will be back. Too many annoyances.

The overall experience was good. The location is excellent — close to the subway, surrounded by restaurants, and very walkable. There is a fire station nearby, so you may be awakened by sirens a few times during the night. The room was in good condition. However, the bathroom sink is very shallow and not very practical. I wish there were more counter space around the sink to place toiletries and personal items.

Amazing staff and attention to detail. Perfect location for a staycation. My dog’s leash broke and Catherine, one of the housekeepers noticed and had a leash ordered from the local Target for us! Talk about going above and beyond! I have never experienced that level of thoughtfulness from hotel staff. That kind gesture alone will make me return. Thank you for a great experience all around.
The location is perfect as well. Plenty to do in the area and all of the food options were excellent. Del Frisco’s Grille is right across the street where we had dinner our first night.

The original room was old and dirty. The bed was full of hairs. They upgraded us to a room that was renovated which was much better. The room was okay but not worth the price. The pictures on the site definitely do not look the same in person. I wouldn’t stay here again.
