This place is misleading. They’ve opted for mobile check in vs having a human help you. The lounge is a locker room, and the extra charges don’t make much sense. I tried checking in and as I was making the attempt two other guests struggled and left to go book somewhere else. After the ‘property fee’, early check in fee because the lounge is not a place you want to stay for a couple hours, I would have gladly paid the added 70 more dollars to stay at the Fredrick which has a full staff, lobby, and rooms that don’t have half the bathroom wall paint peeling off and the table in it broken. The 35 feel was supposed to cover things like streaming services, lounge, etc, but none of it was worth it as the tv didn’t work. Well it did work, but there was a massive ‘update’ box in front of the image that I couldn’t get to go away. Generally it was a fairly clean and you can see some effort, but for the value, I should have easily been 150 less as I would have paid 100 more to stay somewhere more reliable.

Staff are the best part but NYC pricing is just totally ridiculous. The hotel if priced approriately is totally fine for what it is but at 550 a night not so much. UN and Climate Change week is to blame for the inflated pricing.

Comfortable and clean room, with a great breakfast. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and responsive to all of our questions and requests. There are also plenty of shopping options of all kinds conveniently located around the hotel.
