Initially we were assigned to a room on the second floor. but upon I opened balcony door, a strong smell of kitchen fumes hit me. Later we were moved to seventh floor. The hotel guests have no priority to book its own restaurant. It was fully booked out in the afternoon. We had to go back to city centre for dinner.

Absolutely incredible hotel. Room was super spacious, beautiful and amazingly comfortable bed and linen. Bath and separate shower.
Breakfast (included in my price) is MIND BLOWING. It's too hard to explain - but they have Movenpick ice cream buffet, noodle station, hot food (i.e. mains style), eggs, crispy bacon, charcuterie station, fresh sour dough that you cut yourself, pastries, dessert pastries, cheese - EVERYTHING you can dream off. Served in the most beautiful luxurious dining room. (check out the bathrooms connected to the dining room).
My room also included the salon, amazing convenience. I could sit in a beautiful spacious room, where I was served freshly made tea. They had a great selection of snacks and also had wine, beer, spirits to self help.
I also managed to use the gym every morning, a really great selection of equipment and there was plenty for anyone that wanted to exercise.
Had I known the hotel also had a 3 Micheline star restaurant, I would've tried to make a reservation to eat, but alas it was CNY and fully booked.
HIGHLY recommend, worth every dollar!

Despite great service and staff (Cody, Tom, Pamela) at Eclat, our stay ended with a nightmarish checkout.
The hotel was in a great location with unique decoration and good service. Cody was considerate, and his recommendations for places and events made our stay very rewarding. Tom made us feel at home, and Pamela was helpful with an early check-in and kindness.
However, during checkout, Pamela demanded $500+ for a "missing" pen. We are used to dime-a-dozen Hyatt and Hilton pens. Since the pen was unmarked, the chance of it mixing with our belongings was high. We searched and could not find it. I assured Pamela that I would mail it if we found it. She insisted for the payment. I refused. The police were called, but they were 1.5 hours away. Not a good situation. My friend came back extremely mad and dumped all the contents of her purse on the counter; there was no sign of the pen. Later, she pulled the lining of her purse out to show nothing there.The pen popped out. The issue was resolved after 2 hours.
Moral of the story: if you stay at Eclat, the first thing you do is put their pen in the safe. Who put $500 unmarked pen in a hotel room?
