This has been our favourite hotel of our trip to South-east Asia. The staff go the extra mile, they are genuinely warm, talkative and welcoming people who make you feel at home. We especially enjoyed the company of Annie,
Ton Phat, Pheat (I can’t recall the exact spelling), Ms. Hun and Chakriya.
Our room was lovely, clean and well-designed; the restaurant had a great choice of dishes on the menu - the fried chicken with roasted pineapple in curry sauce and their lemongrass crème brûlée were delicious - and the pool area is beautiful.
This is definitely a hotel I would stay at again; it’s stunning and deserves a lot of praise.

PROS
The hotel staff are extremely courteous and are so happy to help you from the moment you enter to when you check-out. The hotel is in a great location. It is relatively close to so many items of interest and there is always a tuk tuk or two waiting outside the hotel if you need a ride. Also, the Apsara show that is mentioned at check-in and occurs directly across the street is an absolutely must do. The dancers are so captivating and keep your attention the whole time. The breakfast is a great option with many choices!! The do give you two large water bottles a day to use to drink, which is a must while it was so hot during my stay.
CONS
The complex will take some exploring to figure out where things are. The pool is kind of hidden if you are staying on the other side of the complex. My room did a great job of staying cool during the daytime, but as soon as the sun went down it didn’t seem to be cooling at all. I also, must’ve been very unlucky because the first two nights I had what accounted to very large ants crawling on both beds in my room. Then the third day I came back to a mouse poop on the other bed sheet that I wasn’t using(luckily.) The cleaners would also clean up all the items that were on the sink counter in the restroom by putting the items into the glasses that you were supposed to be using to brush your teeth, therefore making them dirty. Kind of making them pointless to have in the room.

We had a wonderful stay at the Apsara over a total of 5 nights. The location is excellent to explore Siem Reap, hotel food is very good and the rooms are immaculate. But the real stars are the staff - every single person was friendly, professional and always willing to help, with a smile. Highly recommended. We will be back!

Amazingly friendly staff. Seamless and professional check-in and check-out.
Free breakfast included an Egg and pasta station and a nice selection of food for the price - great service.
Dinner at restaurant was amazing, my first Fish Amok was one of the best dishes ever!
The cabana room at ground level was clean with modern bathroom fixtures. The room had a nice large comfortable bed , a writing desk with overall good space. Staff did a splendid job cleaning the room.
Swimming pool looked great , staff informed me I could have my meals there if I wanted.
I will without a doubt stay here when I visit Siem Reap again.
Siem Reap was put in as an after-thought in my five country SE Asia trip, but turned out to be the best destination of all of them. Not just for Angkor Wat complex, which is without a doubt breathtaking, but for the town itself which is still unspoiled.
It offers that authentic local experience most tourists crave, as it’s yet to be tarnished by fake tourist traps. The locals were living their own lives, and we enjoyed their kind and overwhelmingly friendly hospitality for a few days as the locals went on about with their daily lives. Currently it’s at that sweet spot of being clean, with everything available and not yet affected by over-tourism.
Do yourselves a favor and make it here and give a strong consideration for this fantastic hotel.
