Let's start with the positives. The staff vas helpfult and good. The breakfast was one of the best ones I have had in a hotel, but the deserts are just way to sweet, cut down on the sugar guys. The gym is very good and has everything you need for a nice exercise. The pool and sauna is nice but unfortunately very greedy and stupid to charge extra to use them. The hotel is already expensive and off location as it is, at least you should have the pool and sauna included in the price like every other hotel on planet earth, whats the point in visiting this hotel otherwise if you need to pay extra for almost everything except the room? Overall I would rate it a strong 3.5 because of the nice breakfast and staff.

Good breakfast buffet included in the room price. Excellent location close to museums and the king’s palace. However we could never cool off our room. We were there 8/31 and turned on the a/c. On 9/1, the system switched to heat. Took us a while to figure out how to change the mode since the instructions were in Norwegian. Even then, the blackout curtains were between the hvac system and the room. All of the cool air was directed towards the windows behind the curtains. We never cooled off the room. Warm, sleepless nights. And, I misunderstood when and what housekeeping would do to our room. I interpreted that we would get no housekeeping until after the second night. I did not lock up my valuables. $250 was stolen from my room. Very disappointed. I filed a claim with the hotel but don’t expect to get my money back.
