There was nothing we didn't like!! I can't say enough good things about this Hotel, we stayed here on July 3rd for our 6 year Wedding Anniversary just a little getaway & we were not disappointed! We absolutely loved it & our stay was absolutely wonderful, everyone was so welcoming & friendly. We got into our room & had 2 yummy cookies waiting for us along with a very sweet card wishing up a Happy Anniversary, such a nice touch. The food was great! Only wish that they also had options for coffee or tea in the room and a gym. Otherwise the service was fantastic and the food was amazing. The location is terrific!

Very friendly staff, extremely clean and quiet. Lovely muted decorations just all-around a wonderful peaceful place to stay. Bed was very comfortable.Also the coffee was wonderful and strong.

Highly recommended: a charming (& sprawling) home minutes away from restaurants and historic sites. The hosts were most welcoming, worked with us when our plans changed, and prepared a delicious breakfast for us before we began our day of history-nerding-out at Appomattox Court House. Why hang out a bland, similarly-priced chain hotel when Longacre is available?

We really enjoyed this hotel!! The staff were all friendly and helpful!! The property and room were super clean and very refreshing.

The Babcock House exceeded my expectations. The room and amenities were top shelf. The breakfast was delicious and healthy each day. The dinners were up there with any other exclusive city restaurant. It appeared that the chef used a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients to create his dinners. This bed and breakfast is one of the best I have stayed at.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly, helpful, and everyone spoke English well. The room was spacious and the bed comfy. I slept well. I will stay again when I am in Lynchburg.

We came from Georgia to Virginia so my girls could do there intensives at Liberty University. While we were traveling my husband becomes so sick that we have to stop at a ER. When we get to the hotel I explained that I needed to get my husband in the room so I can go get meds across town. The desk clerk ask me if he could do anything to make our stay more comfortable and if so just let him know. I actually had a problem with the blackout curtains not working in my room and the representative at the front desk came to my room to fix the issue. I was very impressed with the young man and his excellent customer service. It’s something you don’t see very much these days. I will definitely be staying at another Residence Inn on my next trip/vacation.

My stay was nice and quiet. The staff member, Jessica was very courteous and accommodating!

Excellent location right off Rte. 29......accessible free parking, clean, good sized room, comfortable beds.....coffee in the morning. All my needs were met.

Almost everything was excellent. The only issues were the hair dryer was missing ( but management brought me one right away) and the spigot cover on my bathtub was loose. Otherwise, it was a perfect visit.

Front desk and maid service very friendly. Room was clean and comfy. Nice place to stay .

Exceptionally fast wifi, great beds, cozy room, beautiful bathroom (and room), nice and clean...smelled nice, great staff, awesome HD TV, we were thrilled with this stay, and will be back whenever we're in the area. Only downside was not being able to pay through Hotels.com, but that's just a minor inconvenience.

The one thing I would recommend is that at the check-in let the person know that there isn’t an Ice machine on the floor, and you have to use the in Freezer ice machine for ice.
