We stayed in the caboose for a night heading up to Iowa from AZ. It was just as expected and more. Cute small space with all the amenities youd need for a short stay. Very quiet location off the main road in a heavily treed area outside of town. It was super cool sleeping in an actual caboose. There is a main house a short distance away that can be rented as well. Easy location for traveling thru on I-70. The receptionist recommended a local Mexican restaurant for dinner (la Curva). And it was excellent.

Rooms and lobby were clean and comfortable. But not being able to get courtesy coffee in the lobby is extremely rediculous. Having to buy 3 cups of coffee, is absurd. Want to charge for breakfast, still absurd, but at least give coffee. The in toom coffee maker was small and dont tryst that no mold sitting in the water fill..so.. rethink your policy

This is a very nice, clean, convenient hotel for travelers. The restaurant is a good burger spot and the optional breakfast had lots of variety.

I was impressed with this Holiday Inn! I arrived around 1:00 AM and the night clerk was kind, helpful, wide-awake and welcoming. The room was newly decorated and had some lovely touches that made it feel “homey” (I particularly like the chaise lounge). But the best thing about the room itself was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever had in a hotel!

This hotel is a great value. It's probably one of the nicest and best deals within a 60 mile radius. Our destination was Hesston, KS, however the hotels there were not rated well. I then tried McPhearson, KS, and those hotels also were not rated well or almost twice the price I paid here. I'm so glad we drove the extra miles and stayed here. This is my second time staying at this hotel and it's my favorite. My son will be attending Kansas Wesleyan University and this will be my go to hotel during football season.

Guys, stay here! The staff is super friendly, rooms have been renovated and are extremely clean and spacious, and the breakfast was top notch with lots of selections. Would definitely stay again.

Simply put, this was the best value I’ve ever had. Not only was the place big and gorgeous and roomy, there were gift cards for breakfast, a speakeasy, and a car wash. It was an awesome experience. First class all the way.
