We really enjoyed our stay! The location was wonderful, beds and room comfy, and the food was outstanding! The breakfast was incredible!!! I’d definitely stay again when in the area!

This roadside pub with inn above was so convenient for my stopover to Highclere Castle, it’s a shame I didn't have more time there. The staff is friendly, the room is comfortable and quiet, the shower has great water pressure.

Staying at Ye Olde Red Lion was a fun experience. It is probably the most unique place I've stayed with its blending of old, old and new and updated rooms. I would stay here again. We were in Arran Room which was very nice other than the mattress should be replaced. It is uncomfortable. The outside grounds need some cleaning and TLC, too. Loved our stay at the Crab & Boar, a quintessential English country inn. The staff is friendly, easygoing, quite helpful and even went above and beyond for us. Dave and Tammy were fantastic. The food was quite good. Prices seem reasonable. Drive to close by Newbury is a short distance. Very nice and handy Speedy Queen launderette in town. Quiet but for the occasional car whizzing by. Visited in from the states first time in Newbury UK and if I were to come back, I would come back to this hotel every single time the beds were amazing. The staff was wonderful and it is just a hop away from local shopping and a beautiful park 10 out of 1000 would definitely stay here again!!!!!

Lovely town, very close to Highclere Castle. Short drive to restaurants. On site Pub is good. They didn't serve food the night we were there, but otherwise a nice place.

Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The pub downstairs was nice and the staff were very friendly. They also provided a decent continental breakfast. The bathroom was small but functional.

Very friendly and helpful staff. High end Bosch coffee maker in my room but I needed a demonstration to learn how to make it work (it made excellent coffee for a machine). Breakfast is cereal they give you the evening before: there's no cooked breakfast. Small hotel and no one is on-site in the morning for check-out: you leave your key in the lock. Dinner was good.
