Great stay!

We stayed here whilst competing in a qualifier at Donnington golf course, great location. Lovely comfortable room, powerful shower in bathroom. Nice to have the tea/coffee making facility in the room. Food at breakfast and in the restaurant was fabulous!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The room was spacious, staff were spectacular. And the pub food was some of the best we had on our trip! Great proximity to Downton Abbey as well. Lovely stay, would definitely return!

This is a charming, family-run inn near Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey). The accommodations were comfortable although simple, and the pub is fantastic, with really excellent food. The service by the family that owns th Inn and their employees is very good. The prices are reasonable, and the locals are friendly. The garden is very pretty also. No complaints, would stay again. The tomato soup and goat cheese salad were standouts.

Cozy hotel

A nice hotel in a rural area. You probably need a car to visit places around. The service was very good and the staff were really helpful. There were few alternatives for breakfast, but the traditional English breakfast was good. The room was quite clean but some dust.

We stayed at the Furze Bush Inn to be close to our tour at Highclere Castle. The place is an authentic English County Inn, surrounded by greenery and space. There is a great pub in the front and a great restaurant for dinner. The staff is completely accommodating It’s a beautiful old inn and a charming experience!

The Furze Bush Inn

I only stopped for one night as I was attending a show at Newbury. My room was very large and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attentive and able to help me with gluten free options (of which there were plenty). Pub and restaurant areas are fantastic. All in all a great stay :)

Excellent. Very good dinner and breakfast. Room has everything you need and a powerful shower over a bath. Couldn’t open window but aircon worked.

Good value accommodation for overnight work stay

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable with air conditioning and a good shower. The room was good value for money. The cooked breakfast was ok but in my opinion not worth the £15 charge and the sausage tasted a bit odd.
