Getting around San Diego County
Always try to rent a car if you are planning on exploring outside of San Diego city center. Do note that the center itself is easy to navigate on foot, so a car is not always needed for shorter visits. There is a public transportation network too, which includes buses, the Waterfront Shuttle, the San Diego Trolley and intercity trains. Taxis are usually easy to find in busy areas of the city. Visit the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System website. Browse San Diego County rental cars.
