“Such a sweet small town and this rental is a great location because it’s just a few blocks from restaurants, the river, and the rail trail but far enough that there isn’t much traffic! The home is fully stocked with everything you need (they seriously thought of everything!) The host was super easy to chat with about local suggestions and questions about our planning before arriving! The house doesn’t have AC but fans are provided for each room which was helpful! We even brought a couple more...

“We had a good time here, but there are things that could use improvement. There was a snowstorm the day we were set to arrive and we were not sure if we were going to be able to get to the property. I got a text from the owner of the house the day of check in asking if we had a 4WD vehicle as the road goes unplowed usually. Luckily, we had AWD and snow tires so we were okay. “There is no air conditioning in this property as of August 2024. Not sure why the listing would say so. It was filthy when we arrived, and the lower-level rooms were dank and musty. If we had been staying for more than one night I would have contacted the owner immediately, but we made do since we were there less than 24 hours. Absolutely not worth the price.”
