"We had a great time. The home was very well kept and the secluded private area was amazing. The home was equipped well with pots, pans, kitchen utensils, plates, cups and silverware. Just a few things to note but doesnt reduce my rating. The listing says a TV in bedroom 1 and 2 and the living room, there is no tv in bedroom 1. The bed in bedroom one is EXTREMELY squeaky, anytime 1 of us moved the noise woke the other up, after the first night i had to resort to the couch.. We arrived earlier than expected to the area but couldn't check in early (which is understandable) so we went shopping and got all our groceries for the stay which was grilling items, upon arrival there was a note on the grill that it was out of commission but wasnt notified, we improvised and used the grate on the fire so it worked out. Again, these 3 things are minor and doesnt take away from my rating. Would definitely recommend this home if you are looking for a beautiful secluded private area to spend time together. If in the area again we would definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing your home with us and allowing us to make memories there. "

"It was fun to stay in such an old exquisite hotel. The owner was very helpful and escorted us to our room. The Wi-Fi password was easily obtained. And the beds were very soft and cushioned and received a great nights rest. "

"Outstanding Property with Exceptional Amenities and ManagementOur four-generation family, ranging in age from 6 to 87, has enjoyed an annual week-long vacation together for many years. We've stayed at some very nice properties, but none have matched this one. The house itself is spectacular - spacious and thoughtfully designed, featuring high ceilings, log-cabin construction, beautifully stained wood walls and beams, and comfortable Adirondack-style furniture. The floor to ceiling windows and wide decks yield relaxing sites & sounds of a pond complete with a dock, kayak, and large fountain. The amenities provided are top-notch and impeccably maintained. Highlights inside include pool and shuffleboard tables, a video game console loaded with dozens of classic games, and an extraordinary home theater. Despite the peaceful, secluded woodland setting, conveniences such as a super Walmart, multiple other stores, restaurants including an excellent BBQ that also has wood fired pizzas, and an ice cream shop are within a few minutes drive, and numerous hiking trails and nature activities are within a 20-30 minute drive. The managers were highly responsive and communicated clearly and promptly throughout our stay, ensuring everything ran smoothly. We would love to return, and offer our highest recommendation!"
