"It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. WiFi is only at the main house and had bring being our own bedding, that was unclear on this site… but on the main website it’s much more clear. Thanks again! If I ever...

"We loved how close it was to Dolly Sods. It was a bumpy drive up to the house but the Moose Knob cabin had everything we needed to unwind after a long day hiking. It was very clean and well outfitted."

"Heart of Hampshire was a very nice, clean, and well equipped house. We enjoyed our stay and everything we could have thought of was covered. The house is situated out in a beautiful, country setting yet not too remote. We highly recommend and would make it our first choice for any return visits to the area!!"

"The inn was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly. There is a sign for the inn at the road, but the building has no signage (not even on the door). We were not sure that we were at the correct place. Very close to the Potomac Eagle railroad."

West Virginia really is wild and wonderful. A cookout on the South Branch of the Potomac River bundled together with a float in a canoe or kayak is an end of Summer tradition. If you are lucky, on a warm clear day, you may even see the Eagles that make their homes in the surrounding mountains.

"Had a great time with family. We had all that we needed. The cabin was clean, the deck and dog area was spacious, the fire pit was fun for making s’mores. Too hot for the hot tub but was private and nice. Having the two separate cabins gave all some privacy at night to unwind from the day."

"We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. We had to place a folder to block the view! 3. It was very hot in the room! Good for this winter weather if course, but was hard to sleep. There was no way to control the temperature. We opened the window for the second night and it made it less secure but more tolerable."
