“Beautiful, quiet and peaceful stay! The hotel is situated on a quiet stretch of East Boothbay, about 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Boothbay Harbor. “ We stayed three nights on our 8 days in Maine and they were by far the best three nights and mornings of our vacation. The rooms are immaculate, with comfortable beds (so great I bought the sheets), beautiful views, and everything you could need. You arrive to a welcome drink that was simply delicious, and a full bar that is paired with appetizers at 4:30 pm each day. “Lovely house with great wraparound porch and gorgeous plants & trees. The lilacs, which I love, were blooming which was absolutely delightful - so aromatic and beautiful! The bed was very comfy and the view of the town and water was joyful. There's a lovely art gallery, used bookstore, and plenty of dining options nearby. A very sweet couple manages the inn and they're excellent cooks - Captain Sawyer's breakfast was beyond delicious - one day it was just me and they served huevos rancheros...

“The inn is a unique place, in a pleasant way. The owners are wonderful at making you feel at home in their establishment. It's homey with its small, clean rooms. Our room had a private bathroom and a beautiful view. The breakfast was delicious, everything is made from scratch, the ingredients are obviously fresh and locally sourced (I had forgotten what real eggs taste like). The dinner at the restaurant below was also memorable. We highly recommend this place.”
