“When I booked we should of had a small balcony with the obstructed view. I wish I saved the photo that I looked at online when I booked. We ended up in a room with just a window. It was nice to be close to town so we could walk the places to eat. The Lobster Festival is also going on so that was an easy walk also. The rooms are clean.”

“Manager was SO RUDE when I tried to check in 40 minutes early, at 3:20pm. I stopped in earlier in the afternoon where there was a different employee, very kind young man, working and he told me I could "check in for free after 3 IF there is a room available" or I could pay an extra $75 to check in at 1 when I was there originally. AC didn't work in room, and because check in is so late, there's no one around to help fix it. Breakfast is 7-9, got there at 8 with my toddler and there wasn't a……

“The room was supposed to be ready at 2pm, but wasn't ready until 4, and was overpriced; the quality did not meet expectations regarding the amount charged per night. The room was dark - better lighting needed - but the view from the balcony was nice. The breakfast food was not good.”

“This was a great spot with short drives to all the places we wanted to get to. The breakfast was convenient and decent for continental breakfast. The rooms were spacious and seemed to have been recently updated. Same with the hotel. It was also nice to come to a quieter area after a busy day. Having a balcony was nice. The walls were a bit thin but our neighbors quieted down by bedtime at least.”

“250 Main is a lovely hotel. Dog friendly, beautiful local art displayed, rooftop views, complimentary snacks at breakfast, and early evening. We also appreciated how the hotel supported local businesses, by not having in-house dining or amenities. I would recommend it for couples or families with small children.We did pay a high price for our room, and Expedia advertised the room to fit 2 adults, 3 teens and a dog (2 queens and a pullout).
