We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was small, but adequate for our needs and all we did was sleep there. The bed was comfortable and the water for the shower was hot, two big bonuses!
The hotel was a bit dated, and when asked if we wanted to be in the adults only part (up the hill) or down by the beach, I chose beach. This turned out to be the wrong choice, as there was music and noise from the snack bar area until late at night. We had fun joining and the convenience in accessing the beach was nice, but in hindsight I would have chosen the other building. The food and drinks were mediocre, but town is easily walkable and very affordable. We did great shopping and visit an excellent panderia close by. Bring cash with you, as none of the atms within walking distance were working, and cash is preferred in this town.

The food was wonderful. The staff were friendly. It is a “private residence” share so they push for buying in. Once that is over, the beach and pool are top notch. You also have access to the sister resort next door which is more family oriented.
Overall it was a great experience. We would go back.
