"Had a lovely relaxing stay at the villa, perfect for a quiet getaway. The pool was superb and very warm heated by the sun. The air-conditioning was definitely needed every evening and night. A great little restaurant was nearby called Pavo Real which was a real bonus so as you don't need to drive. All in all we had a lovely time. Only negatives for me where a few ants in the kitchen, which not really a problem as it's a hot country, just kept everything in the fridge. Also no English TV channels...

"Pros: Heerlijk rustig en alles prive. Uitstekend zwembad, goede bedden! Luxe accommodatie dus van alles voorzien. Cons: Tja, dat is even zoeken... Zo hier en daar lege batterijen in afstandsbediening (airco). En de deur van het washok sluit niet goed."

"Pros: Huset er SÅ lækkert, lyst, nyt og velholdt. Der er kælet for alle detaljer. Poolen er fantastisk. Udsigten er kanon. Om dagen er det smukt, når mørket falder på er udsigten endnu smukkere. En fin vej op til huset. Huset er hegnet ind og det giver trykhed. Køkkenet indeholder alt hvad du skal bruge. Servicen fra ejeren var helt fantastisk. Vi kommer igen. Cons: Intet at klage på. ALT var fantastisk."

"Pros: Ian and Janet are really nice people, always fast answers and a clear passion for their houses, the area and for taking care of their guests. They have also created a book with information about the area, restaurants, towns, the lake and so on. Great holiday."

"Pros: Villa was perfect, pool was perfect and the host was perfect. I have never before rented a villa that matched the description so perfectly. Not only that but the beds were very comfortable, the pillows were good and all the appliances and cutlery/crockery were spotless. The villa was spotless on arrival. The one request we had was dealt with by Cristina, the host, immediately. Almayate itself has a good supermarket, five or six bars and restaurants and is only 2.5km outside of Torre del...

"Pros: La casa es mejor que en las fotos. Muy cuidado todo. La piscina , vistas, tranquilidad... un lujo. Daniel muy atento a cualquier cosa. Un 10 repetiremos!!!"

"It was a beautiful vacation. Gladly again. :) The stay was great and the host was very friendly. However, you should be a good driver and not afraid of heights, because the route to the house is quite challenging. Especially if you want to walk into town. Yes, it can be reached on foot, but you shouldn't go back up the mountain with a full stomach. Just a little tip. :D If you want to look after yourself and enjoy the peace and quiet, the house is perfect. Otherwise the daily walk/trip downhill...
