"Newer place with great amenities close to town. Sat on back deck and dock to enjoy the views. Also, had fun fishing from the dock. Caught 4 different species in about an hour, including a decent Walleye from the dock."

"Stayed here with three families and three children aged 2 to 4. The house is beautiful, clean and well-maintained. A great layout and a spacious kitchen and dining area allowed us to enjoy all of our meals together. We managed the 2.5 bathrooms through planning and without challenges. The location on Lake Huron is just amazing and the grandkids enjoyed playing on the rocks. The Dinosaur Gardens with putt-putt golf was a great way to spend a morning with little ones."

"From the moment we arrived, the cabin was welcoming - clean, organized, all the items we needed for cooking and serving, feel at home decor. A great set up outside, as well. The location is a nice short drive into Alpena and the surrounding area. A beautiful view across the lake, including a wonderful view of the sunrise. And nicely quiet. We highly recommend this rental. Great communication with the host (quick responses and wanted to make sure our stay went well). We will be talking about this trip for years to come and that is in great part to staying at this location. "

"We had a wonderful week at Marina’s Lake Cabin! The house was lovely, clean and comfortable. It was a good home base for our treks to area hiking trails and lighthouses. We enjoyed the kayak, fire pit, and collecting rocks on beach. Thanks for sharing your home with us!"

"This is a really cute place to stay. Me and my guests stayed 7 nights here when originally we were only going to stay 6. However, we added an extra night so we could stay longer. The host was very good with communicating and super nice. Just a heads up if anyone wants to stay here there is an actual hot tub in the backyard and not the inflatable like the picture. Honestly, I would still stay here again it’s super cute and a quiet neighborhood too. They did a really good job at making this place feel like home :)"
