“Great property as a base to explore glencoe and surrounding areas. Great for a single person or a couple. Enjoyed the peace and closeness to a pub nearby. Very cozy bothy and very unique. And cherry on top is really good wifi if you need to work a bit.”

“Our stay at the Cottage in the woods was amazing and I wish we had booked for longer. I travelled with four teens and a dog and the property was perfect. A beautifully decorated and well laid out property that had everything we needed and more. Beautiful outdoor seating and cooking options, arrived to the fire going and a welcome basket. The hosts were very welcoming and so accommodating, especially helpful after my dog rolled in a big and I needed to fully wash him down. I cannot rate this……

“The bothy was great: brand new, amazing views, good heating system, complete kitchen. The communication with the owners was also very easy.”

“Not worth the cost. The bathroom fan wasn’t working and the shower drain needs unclogging. I had to stop the water for it to drain or it would have over flown the base. The stove light didn’t work. There was no toaster. No facial tissue/kleenex. The dish sponge was used (not good for someone with food allergies like me). There were only two glasses. And be warned, if you are on the top floor like we were, the sun shines on the sliding door all afternoon and into the evening, making the place……

“Coming from a different country it would have been handy to know there was no hair dryer or clothes dryer. Other than that it was great!!!”

“First of all, the host put out some extra special items for us to use and enjoy. The view is amazing and the location is right where you want to be. I would love to visit again and stay here! I couldn’t recommend it more.”
