Hot Tub, King Beds & EV Charger Welcome to The Hoopa Hangout at Big Trees Village!!! We're here to deliver 5-star experiences. We bought our cabin in Nov of 2021 and are constantly making updates. Most recently, a ChargePoint HomeFlex Level 2 EV charger was added to our garage. Avoid worrying about whether or not the charging points in Arnold will be working and book with The Hoopa Hangout. Many properties in this area are managed by large property management companies that deliver a lackluster guest experience. We're family-owned and managed, with a focus on service and responsiveness throughout your booking and stay. We want to provide you and your family with the experience that expect as frequent guests of Airbnb properties. The Hoopa Hangout is a spacious mountain modern property that features 4 Bedroom/3 Bath 2,300 Sq Ft floor plan with 2 car garage, a LARGE LEVEL driveway with plenty of stress-free parking and snow removal service in the winter, hot tub, and access to Big Trees Recreation Area .7 miles away (Rec Center open Memorial Day through Labor Day). Conveniently located and just minutes from Lake Alpine, Spicer Reservoir, the Stanislaus River, Calaveras Big Trees State Park, Bear Valley Ski Resort, and the wine-tasting town of Murphys. This family-friendly cabin offers an open floor plan that has been newly furnished, & features high-quality amenities. Xfinity wifi, sit/stand desk, and 32" external monitor makes it easy to work from "home" at The Hoopa Hangout. The Hoopa Hangout can comfortably host a maximum of 11 all sleeping in beds. All of the kid gear is organized and tucked away so guests traveling without children are comfortable as well. POOL Summer stays include access to the neighborhood shared pool at Big Trees Village Recreation Center (pool open various days & hours between Memorial Day and Labor Day) - approximately a 1-minute drive away from the Hoopa Hangout The entire home is accessible, with the exception of one closet on the lower floor. Each bedroom has an accessible closet & dresser for guest use. The 2 car garage is also fully accessible & available for use by guests. Want to stay longer and extend your vacation? Flex-Check-In & Flex-Check-Out are available if the schedule allows for $100/each and give guests the option to check-in anytime after 10 am or check out anytime before 5 pm. 1 hour complimentary if schedule allows. Stayed in winter with 2 families (4 kids and 4 adults), and the bunk room worked great, as did some of the kid friendly amenities. Lots of snow gear in garage and nice perks like SNO park passes and state park pass for the stay. Well equipped kitchen and living spaces. The loft area on the second floor was the teen hangout. The bunkbed room is oversized and doesn’t feel crowded even with four teenagers (15 to 17). Access to the Big Trees Rec Area with pools and snack bar was a huge perk. Plenty of room in fridge and freezer for food for ten people! Washer and dryer very convenient off garage. House has AC (!) and plenty of tower fans to keep it cool in the summertime. Lots of spaces for all of us to spread out and enjoy this quiet slice of the mountains. The house was in a quiet wooded neighborhood and was very clean and well stocked. It has plenty of space for our two families. The surrounding area kept us busy all week with hikes, frisbee golf, wine tastings, and exploring the lake. It is clear lots of care and attention to detail is taken to make your stay go smooth. My Family and I spent 5 days there and enjoyed every minute of it. The house was clean, well stocked and exactly as it was described. No surprises! We had 3 kids, 8,12 & 14 and they were never bored. The pool and rec center was great and we found a lake to swim in as well. Big Trees National Park was a fun hiking and biking spot. The house is well stocked with games, hot tub, grill, a well stocked kitchen and foos ball table. There is an arcade machine full of games. Nice room. The pillows just need to be a bit firmer. Beds are comfortable. The whole house was so well equipped, my husband said a few times, there was nothing you didn’t have that we needed. The beds were so comfortable, even our friends kept commenting on how this was the nicest Vrbo they have ever stayed in. The kids had a blast with all the balls and corn hole that were available to use. The game in the loft area upstairs was a hit with the adults and the kids. We had the best time at the Hoopa Hangout! Hands downs this was the best rental property we have stayed at. The cupboards are stacked with all the essentials, there’s plenty of games to keep the kids entertained. The house is so spacious, clean and in the loveliest of locations. Very clean and updated, furnishings and appliances all look new. The hosts have thought of every detail to make the guest feel welcome and supplied many extra amenities. Thre is plenty of room for even a large family to be comfortable. The hot tub was a welcome treat after hiking in the beautiful Calaveras State Park. Nick, the host was very responsive to every question and very accommodating.
