"My husband and I needed a place for one night near Wellsboro and found this place. Rough Cut Lodge was so nice. We stayed across the road from the main lodge area in a suite and loved it.Comfy king bed, kitchen area and sitting area were all great. Nice porch that you can watch for wildlife. So nice. "We all had a great time at the cabin. It was spacious enough for our group of 8. We had beautiful weather and were able to see many stars right from the properties dark sky. The propane tank for the grill was low so we did have to purchase propane and we also had to purchase fire wood from a local store for our campfires at night. The atmosphere inside was so cozy and quant but was very up to date with very fast wifi and lots of light fixtures, outlets, and USB plugs.
