"On arrival we were already stunned by the beautiful scenery, the animals and little shop on entry, following the instructions to get to Tiny Matilda the scenery continued to stun us, Tiny Matilda did not disappoint , the venue is gorgeous a perfect space to reconnect, relax and decompress. Our children aged 6 and 13 both thoroughly enjoyed the stay, seeing the animals farm and wildlife included and also sleeping on the loft bunk bed ! "We loved this place! The outdoor kitchen area next to the oldtimers was great. In the weekends you can have a look in their big antique shop. We enjoyed the sounds of all the different birds. It's a really unique place. Defenitely would come here again. Thanks! "

"Overall the property was good. What it offered was basic, but all basic needs were met. The only complaint was that it was not clearly mentioned listed that there is no WiFi for the property. Not a need, but would have preferred to know before arriving."

"Best part was the wildlife. Accommodation was tired but adequate with some expected items lacking. Needs a big renovation and revamp. No microwave so had to heat my coffee on stove(brought my own pod machine) Oven machine needed lifting out into the bench to connect to the power. No instructions of how to use it.Needs renovation and modernisation."

"This property is stunning. No matter what the weather it offers peace, tranquility, and an atmosphere and beauty incomparable to anywhere else. It feels like a home away from home. We didn’t want to leave."

"The refurbish is great. Very modern style, looks light and clean. The reception "desk" looks great, the staff are no longer hiding from the guests. (the staff may have some concerns with their safety)
The room was also very well done, not cluttered so looked clean. I also liked the chairs.
We have stayed at this location many times, more enjoyable this time.
We did not have breakfast"
"The staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful across every area, the front desk, bar, and restaurant. Each person greeted me with a genuine smile that made me feel truly welcome. My room was spotless and comfortably spacious for a solo stay.
If you have the chance, I highly recommend ordering the breakfast. The selection is excellent, with both hot and cold options to suit every taste. It’s best to purchase it at check-in, as the price is more favorable than buying it later.
A wonderful experience overall, highly recommended. "
"Clean, comfortable room with modern facilities which had been sensitively restored to retain plenty of character. Excellent central location and a short walk to most places you’d want to visit.
We were right next to the Emily Turner restaurant but couldn’t hear any noise from the bedroom. Chilled still and sparkling water on tap, free drinks and snacks in the room and a free drink at the tiny Gimlet gin bar which was worthwhile visiting to try out the extensive selection of gins and get expert advice from the mixologists. Secure car parking is available but is limited so needs to be reserved in advance.
Reception is housed in the newly opened Garde Hotel where the included breakfast is also served. Plenty of choice and a good start to the day - coffee, fresh fruit, granola, yoghurt, breads, juices, pasties etc. Barista coffees, tea and cooked items were available but chargeable. The only disappointment was the self-serve coffee machine - only one machine meant there was a queue at busy times and the taste couldn’t compare with the excellent coffees we’d had elsewhere during our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful."
