Purtroppo non ci sono molte strutture sull’isola, quindi la scelta è ridotta. La Maitai ha ottime potenzialità e spazi di miglioramento. Attualmente molti bungalow sono in ristrutturazione ma ciò non ha causato problemi al nostro soggiorno. Anche se non c’è la spiaggia, ho fatto un bellissimo snorkeling proprio di fronte alla struttura, con squali, diversi pesci e anche un polipo. Consigliatissima l’escursione alla laguna blu e Tiputa pass. In generale il personale alla reception è molto disponibile. Abbiamo usufruito del servizio di transfer per l’aereoporto (caro per la distanza percorsa ma non ci sono taxi, quindi nessuna alternativa); loro ti suggeriscono di essere lì 2 ore prima ma non è assolutamente necessario, 1 ora è più che sufficiente). Buona la pulizia, peccato che ci siamo ritrovati uno scarafaggio in camera :(. Servizio al bar e ristorante molto migliorabile; attualmente sono lenti; peccato perché si mangia bene. Ottima la colazione.

We took our family of 4 and had a lovely time. The location is quiet, peaceful, and remote which we loved. We walked all around the property as much as we pleased and explored the beautiful scenery. The fishing was great and Captain was amazing. They even cooked the fish we caught and the chef was superb. It’s very easy to relax and unwind from the American hustle and bustle at Aotera. The host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful during the whole stay. It definitely was a week in paradise.
