Staff was wonderful and friendly! Room was clean. The only problem was being it was pet friendly, heard dogs barking early in the morning. That, however, is not a reason to not stay there. Overall was great.

There are new owners, who are super friendly. It’s also being renovated so some rooms aren’t available. It was easy to get to/find, the rooms were clean and comfortable, overall it was good. The AC didn’t work, definitely needs an upgrade, but for a room under $100, it was great. I’d stay there again.

Property was nicely decorated, but rooms were dirty. Walls in room were dirty, hair in beds and tub. No front staff on property when checking in. Took 20 minutes for someone to answer number provided. Room keys and invoice were left on desk when finally got a hold of someone-not safe. No staff at desk at check-out

When we checked in there wasnt anyone at the reception desk, but there was a phone # to call, which we did. The woman who answered said she'd be there in a few minutes. We heard a room door close on the second floor, not the managers office on the first floor. As she came down the stairs, to our shock, she was wearing only a terry bath robe. I mean ONLY a robe. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and shower head was amazing.

Bad experience
The person working the front desk was EXTREMELY difficult to work with. They say that they have a continental breakfast, it was one of the worst I ever had. They had a group of workers staying there who drank outside the entrance both nights which was fine, but walking thru the thick cloud of marijuana smoke wasn't the easiest. The bed was comfy and the room was clean, everything else about the trip sucked.

Close to I-94 for rest stop. Waited over 10 minutes at lobby, and called the manager on duty to find me a room. Kim is super sweet, but had to clean a room quick for me because the room she was told to be clean, was not. I almost just left, but the booking was not refundable. I hate to leave a poor review because Kim is so nice and sincere, but the entire experience is unlike any other.

The overall experience I had was amazing. I felt safe, staff and owner were great, price was very affordable, and room was very clean. If i would ever have to be in the area again, i would definitely go there to stay.

Management was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the bathroom was definitely in need of an update. It was also disappointing that Wi-Fi was not available in our room. There are approximately 15 steps to get to the second floor and with a physically challenged spouse we were unable to accept a room on the second floor that might have accommodated our desire for Wi-Fi. The continental breakfast selections were very good!

They were not expecting us and we are sitting waiting to try and get into the room because the person left in charge does not know how to check anyone in. Horrible service.

A jewel from the past. In its day, this was a beauty and has been well and thoughtfully maintained. From the real fireplace in the lobby to the decorations, I felt I was in the north and it was very peaceful.

The lady who owned the property was nice. There was no key card machine so she had to physically unlock the door any time I left my room or I could “just leave the dead bolt on” so the door didn’t close all the way. Felt very unsafe as a woman traveling by myself with pets. I ended up taking my dog out one before the end of the night and just stayed in the room until morning when I checked out earlier than I typically would have. She stated she just purchased the property so I believe she is trying to make improvements but it was outdated and smelled strongly of cigarettes throughout the building.

Keep trying
Hotel seems to be trying, room was freshly painted and reasonably clean. Was quiet. However outside of hotel is aged with wall unit air condioners. Bathroom needed a really good update. Outside guest hangung around made us nervous, key card machine not working and no safety chain on door.. Was told by community members they have live ins at this hotel.

Absolutely lovely, The Young lady Kim that checked me in was so nice and kind and we have the same name she was awesome, beautiful place, the room was very clean and comfortable and safe,I definitely recommend staying here,no bugs!Gas station and food next door.Thanks Kim for the lovely experience, will definitely stay again when I'm in the area.
