Lobby was beautiful with huge fireplace & comfortable seating. Checkin in was easy and staff was very friendly. Extremely clean & well set up room with queen size bed & built in bunk beds (which we did not use). Large well supplied bathroom. Larger than typical size in-room frig & plenty of counter top along with comfy chairs. Breakfast was "to go" with coffee & mostly cereal & granola bars.

Hotel is really nice. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and pillows are super soft. The parking lot is plenty big. We had no problem parking our boat and truck. Lots of room for our dog to run around out back.

Excellent stay near Ely, MN. Cost was considerably less and it was only a 15 minute drive on a nice road to Ely. Clean rooms, decent breakfast, pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend this hotel.

10/10 we will stay again someday!

Our stay was awesome! I had to call on our way up about our dog who was with us and the person that answered the phone was appreciative that I called to give a heads up (hotels.com doesn’t give a spot to say a dog is joining.) Our stay was comfortable and with the breed of dog we have we were pleased with how they welcomed her as well!! I would recommend this place to anyone that visits the area!!

Well worth the cost.

The front desk clerk, Madison, was very helpful with tips on where to go for fall colors and hikes. Madison was like a breath of fresh air after driving almost 400 miles. The other staff was also friendly. The room was clean and much quieter than your typical motel. I had 2 nights of good sleep. Some have complained about the continental breakfast. This motel isn't like a high priced chain hotel that charges more than enough to pay for a bit more. This is a reasonably priced motel that provides an adequate breakfast to start your day. In summary I consider this motel well worth what they charge and wouldn't hesitate staying there again when back up there.

Everything was good except the size of the bottom bunk and the bunkbed. The room was listed for five. Really that might be true for two young people like age four to seven. But not for ages 13, 10 and six. We made it work by sharing the lower bunk of us as a couple and giving the 13 and six year old girls the big bed. Otherwise everything was great week

I was misinformed about the price. I boooked on line, double queen with 2 adults. Brought 1 nephew extra, and was charged $20 extra per day. When I checked in, they said I wouldn't be charged extra. I think it's ridiculous to be charged extra for a double queen room which should allow 4 people at the price.
