"Everything about our stay at Tropical Beach was excellent. We arrived late due to a delayed flight and they made arrangements for us to park and receive our key after hours. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. The pool was a nice respite from the heat and humidity and the restaurant on site was delicious. All that and it was affordable, comfortable, and, yes, they have hot water (I know this is an issue at some other places). We truly enjoyed our stay. "

"The 24/7 front counter is a great feature, the pool is nice, the suite upstairs had all we needed in the kitchen, and hot water with good pressure in the shower. The fridge came in handy for leftovers from our favorite restaurant just a few minutes up the street. We met friendly travelers and had a fantastic visit."

"Casa De Pastores was in the most ideal location possible for our family vacay to Uvita Costa Rica! Just a short walk uphill is a gorgeous waterfall/swimming hole/butterfly garden, down the road are amazing restaurants, excursion start points, shops and a grocery store. Minutes from some of the most gorgeous beaches I've ever seen! The house was well equipped, felt incredibly clean, and had everything you might need to go tooling around town. The bunk bed had a hidden third trundle bed that we didn't even realize existed before we arrived, and the outdoorish shower/tub was so cool! The pool was well kept and a wonderful way to wind down from the adventures of the day. We felt incredibly safe with the security features of the house, and the hosts were very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We're already dreaming of returning to Casa De Pastores as our home base for the next adventure! "

"We stayed here after a week of events for our wedding with a few friends and it was EXACTLY what we needed to de-stress! The house is amazing! I’ve never felt so relaxed! The house is beautifully nestled on a mountain in the rainforest overlooking the ocean. Monkeys visited us every morning, as well as other local wildlife.Licho was the perfect host and was available if we needed anything. Will definitely be returning very soon!"

"We saw the listing, read the reviews and were absolutely looking forward to our brief stay in this little gem. As it turns out, this is one of the top Vrbo properties we have ever rented. This home was set up so well and had so many extra's that many owners seem to forget. Spices, cooking spray, all the pots and pans you could ever want. Food storage containers, several ice cube trays, which in this climate is a must. Coolers and beach chairs and more towels for the plunge pool than we could use in a month. And speaking of the plunge pool, what a refreshing way to end your day. Also they have two outdoor showers, a fenced in parking area, I could go on all day. For 2 or 4 people this is the perfect little nest to call home for however long you visit might be. Two markets within walking distance, a great Tex Mex restaurant 100 meters away and the National Park an 8 minute walk from the house. Can't wait to spend some more time here..."
