5/5 - Excellent
Friendly, laid-back town

Loved the pool and the fact that the staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome, they even went through the trouble of bringing “manzanas de agua” from the tree, clean them and served them pool side on a plate with salt on the side. No charge for this, just kindness. When I decided to stay ...

Lovely little oasis in Uvita. The pool is exceptional as was the breakfast. Only small complaint is the air fresheners that fill the room with a sickly sweet odor. We unplugged them both and the air cleared after a couple of hours.

Friendly, laid-back town
The ballena area is dispersed semi-rural with lots of areas to walk. A half km or so from the hotel is a strip of restaurants and souvenir on the road leading to the entrance to the National Park. The town center is 1.5 km distant.
uvita is quiet and walkable with nice restaurants
Great beaches and dining
No food delivery you have to go out or order take out at the place, some let you order ahead but you still pick it up. The national park has 4 entrances, ask your tour guides which one to go to because waze will take you to chaman/colonia
I honestly did not do enough research about Uvita before arriving. It is a safe and relaxing little town where you can find all your needs. I found gift shops a little overpriced. There are some nice restaurants and bars around.
