You can tell that it was quite the place in its earlier life. Still, it is comfortable, close enough to the cruise-ship area which has an assortment of dining options and additional shopping. It’s convenient to stops for transport if you’d like to travel like the locals. It’s also directly across the street if you want to hop on a water taxi and visit another island. Also, things run on “island time”, so pack your patience.
The staff was accommodating with information and simple requests such as additional towels. Restaurant prices are comparable to local eateries. Just remember, a smile and a good attitude will go a long way in bringing out that island hospitality.
It’s not directly on the beach, but whether you rent a car or take local transport, you’re just a few minutes away.
We’d stay here again.
