"Small but well appointed place with spectacular views. The main "room" is essentially the large deck with a private pool. Comfy outdoor furniture with dining table, loungers and rockers. Part of the deck is covered for shade lovers and rain. The bathroom is huge (indoor and outdoor shower). The bed is super comfortable, and there is a small loveseat and chair in that room as well. Kitchen is small but well stocked. Driveway was described as steep, but it wasn't at all intimidating (we've seen much more intimidating in Coral Bay!). Super easy to get to (all paved roads).The hosts were living in the attached main house, but we never heard them. They were respectful of our privacy, but warm, welcoming, and available for any and all questions.The only reason for 4 stars was for something hosts couldn't control, and something that will likely resolve quickly. There was construction happening above us that meant our mornings were somewhat loud. We spent most days out of the house, so it wasn't a deal breaker. Renters should be aware that noise carries--even on the mountain. But we'd still stay again--the views and the villa more than make up for any unexpected noise!"

"We had a terrific stay at Lameshur Cottage! It was relaxing & comfortable, and in a quiet location for exploring the east end of St John. There are neat little groceries nearby to cook for yourself, but also places to eat out not far in Coral Bay.We enjoyed being so close to the great snorkeling in Salt Bay Pond and great birding opportunities. We could watch the huge flock of flamingos on the small pond below our porch, and had beautiful birds coming to the sugar feeder. The host, Bill, met us on arrival and hauled our biggest suitcase up the stairs for us. He was helpful and attentive the whole time. If you are looking for a slightly rustic but peaceful and relaxing experience on St. John- this is the place!!"

"John and Janet were wonderful hosts! The house was exactly as described, and included even more than we could have wanted! From our welcome to departure everything was great. The house had everything you could need in the kitchen, plenty of beach towels-as well as extra blankets which is a plus! The sunrise in the morning was beautiful! Thanks for a wonderful stay! "The view was outstanding and the Pool area was great. The Kitchen was large and a good gathering place. Driveway and entrance road were steep and when wet a 4-wheel drive is needed. Also, the house could use a generator for Blackouts."
