Really nice place to use as a base. Location is perfect for exploring Basel. Facilities were clean and perfectly functional for our needs. The breakfast was ample, with a good variety of fresh food and drinks. There is a bit of a walk from reception to the room but not excessive and does involve a couple of flights of stairs. Breakfast is on the 8th floor which you can get to by lift. From here you have lovely views over the city. The staff were always helpful when we had questions. Would recommend for a budget friendly option with great location.

The hotel is situated just round the corner from the train station as well as the main trams that run through the city. The staff at the hotel are friendly, polite and professional. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The beds are comfortable. The hotel also has a fitness centre that I was able to use. Highly recommended.

This hotel shares the same building as the Hotel Metropol as is a bit of a rabbit warren the bar and restaurant are in the Hotel Metropol. Rooms in the City Inn were very clean and modern and there is a tea and coffee station in the corridor Wi fi is included and good

It's situated on the elevated part of Biel, 20 mins walk to the closest supermarket, public transport towards the location is very convenient, clean, nice view of the town, glaciers, nice walk all around to churches, restaurants, shopping, lake. Host was professional and very helpful. I enjoyed my stay

We booked this hotel last minute because we wanted AC. We stayed on the 2nd floor. The AC was good, they provided a bed for our baby and accepted an early check in and late check out. Everything was clean, the staff was nice, available and helpful. It's easy to walk to all tourist attraction and very close to the train station! We would definitely stay there again. The only thing that would have made our stay better is having a minifridge in the room.

The hotel is in a very central area which makes it good to get to places. Whilst my room was modern, it was tiny (I booked a single room). The cover on the light switch kept falling off, the breakfast was terrible, with nothing left at 9am. The staff flapped when challenged about this and you’d then have to wait 20 mins while they got more food.

The hotel is basic. The showers, if you're a fan of showers, are great. Above all is it's location. A two minute walk to the train station and the tram stops. You'd expect it to be noisy but it isn't. Fine for an overnight stay.

Very wonkey getting around in the hotel. You have to use two elevators and walk through many corridors but the price and location are good. Very near the train, tram, and bus. Thrifty shopping and eating nearby. The room is very large. The shower is also large. Breakfast is good. No complaints.

The room was simple and small but met our needs for our one night stay near the rail station. The staff were friendly. We used the local metro passes to get to the old historic area. I highly recommend travelers use these. There was a coffee and tea service in the hall way. Air flow was great in our room. I would stay here again.

The location was very central and convenient to the Bahnhof and the airport bus and city tram stations. The breakfast was good with lactose free milk options available. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Perfect for an airport stay.
