"My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here! It is quiet and run by a lovely couple, Karin and Gary, who were very accommodating and warm. It is pretty close to Mammoth Cave and other features around the area. It is also decorated BEAUTIFULLY to the time period. The price was not outrageous either, would recommend to anyone visiting the area looking for a more personal experience!"

"Loved the Robins Nest. Lovely inside and out. The porch was relaxing, Bed (we only slept in the downstairs one) was super comfortable, beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable. We were there to go to Mammoth Cave, and it was about 30 minutes away, so convenient and yet not overrun with other tourists. The neighborhood was peaceful. There are not a lot of food options or even grocery stores nearby, so plan ahead with that. Otherwise, we'd gladly book this again."

"This place is better than described. It’s cozy and has anything you need for a getaway besides shower supplies. Close to the Mammoth Cave National Park: take the ferry route, is just 20 minutes. We had the chance to see the fireflies just from the deck. It’s lake access, and also this place has copious water gears, including kayaks. Corlynn and Joe are wonderful people, very helpful."

"The house is private but you can see rooftops through the trees. The lake is close and there is a down ward hill to get to the water, not too steep and doable with bad knees. One really cool part of the house is there are multiple places you can escape to for alone time or having a listen to the sounds of nature on the patio, etc. the kitchen had an impressive selection of cookware and dishes.
