"Great cottage - well-equipped, comfortable, and right on the lake. Gary called us beforehand to answer any questions and gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. Wonderful stargazing at night from the deck and birds, chipmunks, squirrels feeding right on the patio. As this is an authentic cottage experience, folks not based in Canada need to be aware that you have to bring bedsheets and towels (Gary is very clear and helpful on what you need to bring). Apart from that the cottage had everything we needed. A wonderful, peaceful getaway and a kind and welcoming host."

"Lisa was a wonderful host this week during my stay at the Lakeside Inn. Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the area. My room was renovated and had all the essentials after a long day of work. I had a wonderful home cooked meal at the restaurant and really enjoyed seeing the friendly cats outside and great conversations on the patio! 5 stars for Lisa and her team, they make the motel a home away from home!
