The Lehigh Cabin - Riverfront Escape- 1 mile private river

This is not "just another cabin." Tucked away in the privacy of Historic Stoddartsvilleb, the Lehigh Cabin is the perfect spot for an escape to the Poconos in any season. The Cabin is secluded enough to offer peace and quiet, but still close to restaurants, hiking trails, casinos, skiing, outlets, Wawa, CVS, and grocery stores for everything you may need (or want to do) during your stay.

The Lehigh Cabin includes the following amenities:

***FISHING***$100 fishing FEE per adult (bring your own equipment and license). Regular and guided fishing options.

Escape from the Hustle and Bustle

Such a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the scenery. We really enjoyed ourselves and we would recommend this to anyone who enjoys nature and seclusion. Also very close to a grocery store and some lovely restaurants. The hosts are very kind and accomodating too!!

Great way to get away and reconnect

The river and surrounding area is great! We loved roaming around and seeing all of the history in such a small area. The cabin is rustic, cozy, and tucked just far enough away that you feel more secluded than you are! Although not part of the rental, we loved the goats!

Cozy River Cabin Dream

The perfect place to get away from life’s busy schedules and retreat into the woods for 3 days. We drank mulled wine outside by the fire under the stars, went hiking and fished the stocked waters, caught trout, enjoyed the beautiful views of the falls and nature and slept soundly listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. Loved it and highly recommend this treasure!

Relaxing weekend

We had such a cozy and relaxing time! The cabin is so cute and had an amazing view of the water. It was even better than the pictures. Our two dogs enjoyed it as well. There was a good amount of snow so we spent the time in front of the fireplace, playing games, having a few drinks and walking the dogs around a little.

Cozy cabin with a view

This spot was perfectly picturesque. It was cozy and quaint. Close to grocery stores, hiking trails and even Lake Harmony. I loved making a fire and sitting outside overlooking the river. So beautiful and peaceful. When it comes to cooking, prepare like you're going camping and just use the grill outside. I made great meals on that grill!

Awesome and cozy little cabin, wish I would’ve been able to get down to the river. The railing on the way down is broken away and there’s a ledge with no way down, still a great quiet setting and we ARE planning to stay again. The “cabin memories” book was a cool little addition!

At first when you pull in we didn’t expect the cabin to be so close to a few other buildings, the owners home. However it was so cozy and cute! We loved the peacefulness of being on the river! It was the perfect size and gateway! Absolutely stunning views and defiantly worth taking the hike to the back of the property with the picnic table!

Snowy Riverside

Spent the President Day weekend with my wife at the Cabin. Fantastic! Just enough snow to make it wbite, with a little more addedbon Saturday. Fireplace fire made the cabin cozy and warm. The icicles along the river were a nice touch. Adam & Lacy were a pleasure to deal with. Excellent overall experience.

I definitely want to start by saying we did enjoy our stay and our dog especially loved the river. While I completely understand that it is a cabin in the woods and certain things are expected, but there were a few things that definitely could have made it better. There were areas in the cabin that need attention, the floor throughout was very dirty, under the bed and other furniture was really filthy, one of the front casement windows had a broken crank so it was difficult to open just a little and with there being no air conditioning all the windows had to be open. The bathroom window really needs a shade or curtain especially because people from the other houses had walked in front of the cabin to see the river, the shower curtain was too long and it was hard to not step on it when showering, the drain is extremely slow so the tub filled with water making the curtain situation worse, the shelves and counter in the kitchen were very dirty including a power strip for the microwave and toaster oven. The location is great, perfect for unwinding from the stress that is every day life so I don’t want to say it’s all bad, but it’s frustrating when you pay a cleaning fee and another large fee for bringing our dog, if everyone is paying that cleaning fee the place should be clean when you arrive. Everything that made the stay less than perfect can easily be corrected with minor repairs and a deep cleaning so I think that’s why it bothered me so much.
