"The rental was very spacious and clean and it was in an ideal spot for our getaway.The check-in was a bit difficult as VRBO didn’t send me an email with an access code. Luckily, the owner took it upon himself to drive over to see if we needed anything…and let us in.The cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed, however, our sleeping arrangements were a little difficult to work out ( but we managed) as we were 10 women over the age of 50 and this property was better suited for guests with children as there were 3 rooms with bunk beds .I would have liked to have seen the kitchen and upstairs railings more secure than they were as well.All in all … we had a lovely time ."

"Great property, our host Ken and wife Tina wer really nice and welcoming. All the privacy we wanted, amazing amenities also. Cabin was pristine and full acces to fire pit pergola and screened in area with tables, louges, fridge and cooking as well as bbq for us to use. Definitely recommend!"

"This was my first time coming to this motel and I have zero complaints the rooms are so clean. They’re huge and spacious. The owners are very sweet extremely accommodating, great location has a steakhouse literally in the same parking lot they’re shopping all around you. It’s a really good little location. I will definitely be returning."

"This property was a cozy homebase for our family as we explored Chatham and the surrounding area. We appreciated the full kitchen and saved a lot of money eating most meals in. Dining on the backyard patio was especially relaxing. The fenced-in yard offered peace of mind, the property was well maintained, the neighborhood was safe and quiet and the neighbors were friendly. Host was responsive when we needed to get in touch. We would definitely book again."

"I stayed here as they allowed pets. The couple running the place were lovely. They have large areas of grass and trees which was great for the dogs. Outdated features, but everything was functional. I was traveling alone and felt safe. I would stay there again."

"We loved the cottage and property!It was nice to go to the beach without leaving the propertyWe were not aware that it was a shared property when we booked it. meaning the building was split into 2 cottages.shared BBQ etcThe backyard was very large so lots of space to share!Fortunately we were the only party there for 4 days.We had young kids with us so we would have been disruptive to the other party! Crying etc.It would be a great property if you rented both halfs of the cottge for one party.Our preference would be to rent a property that is not shared!"

"I stayed in Chatham for the first time and couldn't be happier with this hotel. The room was new and it looks like the hotel has recently been renovated. Whoever picked the tiles for the floor and counters great choice. We have no complaints at all. The breakfast was great, and the staff was very friendly, even bringing out different types of yogurt for our kids. There was a wide selection for breakfast, which we really appreciated. The location was excellent, close to many restaurants. The only downside is that there are no elevators, so it could be a challenge for older guests if they are on the second floor. Overall, it was a wonderful stay for our family!"

"Check in was seamless - the property is very clean, taken care of and well maintained. Everything stated in the ad is 100% accurate - it's a very cozy little vacation spot!Whatever you like to do...go to the beach, go fishing, walk or hike, etc...this is the perfect spot because everthing is walkable!"

"Way cleaner than other motels. Quiet and the beds were so comfortable. Felt like a cloud in the family bedroom 2 of the beds that is. The 3rd bed was also good. Will rebook at this motel from here on. The tv was standing which was great to use a Roku stick. Very pleased indeed overall. The owner lady was very pleasant. I really liked her. "The place was as advertised. It was very clean and in a great location. Walking distance to everything. Lots of plates, utensils etc. Mike was our main contact for the stay and he is an awesome host and great guy to have a chat with. "

The place is a fantastic set up with the beach steps away from the cottage. We enjoyed the little touches, like the Canada Parks pass we were able to use and access Rondaue Park during our stay. "We had a rather serious issue upon arrival. The management was beyond apologetic and rectified the situation in a timely manner and did everything possible to make it up to us.The cottage was very clean and well stocked. My only comment would be that the 3rd bedroom is a bunkie, but we would definitely use this property again."

"Well appointed house, spacious living room and den with fireplaces. The garden is on the banks of Lake Erie. It’s an ideal location for accessing Rondeau, where the birding during the migration season is very good.Wonderful views of sunrise over the lake and of sunset over the fields. Lovely place to relax on the patio, looking out over the lake. Overall a very enjoyable stay. "

"Excellent views of Lake Erie, lovely cottage with games and comfy rooms. The beach is a treasure, it’s the only cottage with secure access to the sandy beach which no one else was on, the stairs down the cliff may be a bit too much for toddlers but for teens and up it was amazing! "
