The food was quality was not commiserate with the prices being charged. The waitstaff in the restaurants were average. We were treated very well by the valets, bellmen, and the life guard. The beach had a fair amount of trash on it but we did not see anyone from the hotel picking up the trash while we were there. They advertise that they have 10 restaurants "on site", but that is not quite true. The Beach Club only had one restaurant and a bistro. They would not even bring food to us on the beach even though we were given a menu with food and drinks. The other restaurants were located at their sister property that could be accessed via shuttle or water taxi. Unfortunately, due to bad weather the restaurant at the Beach Club was flooded the first night we were there and remained closed for the remaining time that we were there. We ended up eating off site for our meals. But, it turns out that the food was much better elsewhere and it was much more affordable. We did not like that any activity like pickle ball was an additional charge. Which, like their food, was quite a bit pricey compared to playing pickle ball at another facility. Bottom line is, we would not stay here again.
