“Unbelievable apartment!!! What a find, from the moment I found The Rockefeller on Expedia to arrival through to the end of the stay everything was the best!! Not going to gointo much detail as wouldn’t want to ruin anybody else’s experience but I will say you won’t be disappointed, everything about the apartment is funky, design led and luxurious from the furnishings to the artwork and even the kitchen and bathroom are of the highest spec. Centrally located with ample parking pretty much……

“I cannot thank Craig and Del enough. Last minute booking for myself, my sister, and my dogs. Phenomenal communication and clarity of instructions, brilliant parking space and sign posting. The apartment (Wainwright) beyond exceeded my expectations! Beautifully appointed, stunningly decorated, and so incredibly thoughtfully put together. The dog welcome box was a really sweet touch. Beds are comfortable, amenities are top notch- and I genuinely could not have been more stoked with what was a home……

“We loved the location as Coniston is not so touristy and still very scenic.We loved the size, layout, quality of furnishing and white goods in the flat. There is everything needed for self catering but very good pubs and coffee shops close by. Highly recommend High Wythow”

“The property had amazing views, and was only a short walk to a pub serving nice food. The garden was great for our 2 Springer Spaniels, plenty of room for sniffing around and seemed secure as they never escaped once! Inside was everything you needed. The main bedroom was huge and had the great views. We were only a 5 minute drive to Keswick and close to lots of great walks. Would definitely stay here again.”

“This is a lovely cottage in the heart of the Braithwaite village, accessible for transport, walking, cycling etc. all amenities you would expect & comfortable beds. Parking & electric charging point were an added bonus ( once we worked it out!) Bathroom / hot shower great after a busy day. Decent sized smart TV & a porch for all the wet walking gear! Lovely garden but weather not too warm yet to enjoy to its full potential. Freezer a good plus for food delivery & washing/ drying facilities……

“Perfect location for starters but that’s beaten hands down by the actual property. A dog wash downstairs that can be accessed by the shared garden so you don’t have to worry about a mucky pup. Next floor is the living area and kitchen - very well appointed. We never used the wood burning stove as we were in the middle of a heatwave but I imagine in the colder months this would be very cozy. And the upper floor with the bedroom with adjoining bathroom complete with shower and rolled top bath -……

“This was our third visit to Spa Cottages. It is a great base for exploring the Lake District. Parking can be a bit tight, but for the majority of the time we were able to park directly outside the property.”
