Lots of walks from the doorsteps of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, took our luggage, took an interest into our stay, couldn’t fault the service. Breakfast set up was good with a range of cooked options included in the breakfast price. Had one meal at the restaurant, nice setting and atmosphere, professional service, food was decent slightly underwhelming however given the reputation of the restaurant. Spa was small but rarely busy, great for relaxing in after a day out walking. Room was a little tired, in need of renovation, but a good size and very comfortable. Smart TV was a big plus. Separate bath with its own tv felt luxurious. The bed was extremely comfortable and spacious, loved having two balconies overlooking the river and the use of the spa was great. Also included lovely toiletries. Bar was adequate as was the food. Staff were welcoming and accommodating. The hotel setting was beautiful and within walking distance of the shopping centre.
