Wonderful old property, lots of charm. Bjorn, the Bernadoodle, is a very welcoming supervisor making sure everyone feels at home. The couple running the Inn were nice too. Excellent breakfast, would definitely recommend.

Breakfast was amazing and my room was quiet and comfortable. Seeing BJORN the Bernadoodle and getting to love on him each morning was the best. Highly recommend Strong House, Vergennes, and nearby Middlebury.

This is a beautiful old home converted into a bed & breakfast /hotel. DJ and Amy are friendly and homey (the owners). I had to be at work early and breakfast wasn’t served until 8:00 so that didn’t work. The TV in my room had very weak signal, eventually I gave up on it. But a lovely environment and beautiful scenery!

Fabulous B&B in Vermont! Hosts were kind, bed comfy, and the breakfast delicious! Would stay again. Area is typical Vermont- vast green space with little else happening. Wonderful place to stay while driving through the state.

Our stay was wonderful! The room was beautifully equipped with a fireplace and a balcony, adding to the charm. The welcome from the owners, Amy and DJ, was incredibly warm and friendly. Breakfast, prepared by Amy and DJ, was absolutely delicious. I would gladly stay here again anytime. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

I cannot say enough about this place! Was way beyond my expectations. Was greeted pleasantly by one of the owners. Check-in was a breeze when I walked into my room, wow, very nicely decorated, neat, clean was very impressed. The Hershey nuggets were a nice touch. It had a coffee bar inside that even included, tea towels were unbelievable best towels I’ve had in any hotel/inn. Everything just had that little extra touch, but the best was yet to come breakfast each morning was absolutely amazing! Kudos to the owners for doing such an awesome job.

The breakfast was amazing and really delicious. The chef asked about any dietary restrictions (we had none) but so very thoughtful. The grounds looked a bit ragged and not up kept. The room was very nice, but there was a communal refrigerator, which was not ideal. We brought a cooler with ice to store drinks. The location was ideal. Close to the center of town, about a half a mile and many options for lunch and dinner.
