"The house was grand. The setting was majestic. The kitchen was gourmet. The linens were luxurious through. However, the salt water has corroded all the sliding doors and locks. The sliding doors had closet poles in the tracks for locking security. Only the front door actually locked. This grand old house needs a major renovation. We were very impressed by how quickly the management team responded to a few maintenance issues. We really enjoyed the abundant wildlife on the island. TV access to local channels would be a real enhancement via Direct TV or Dish. "

"Our two families had a lovely time on the island. We spent time wandering the beach and cruising the island on the provided golf cart. While the property has bikes included, we decided to rent beach cruisers from the sweet lady at the clubhouse. Near the home we saw an alligator every day...very cool! The house itself seemed to have everything we needed for cooking meals at home. We encountered no problems and would recommend this house to other families. "

"Wow! Everything about this trip was an absolute delight. Melody made it feel like home and was excellent with communication. The golf cart was my 3 yo favorite for getting back and forth to the beach and pool and the house was a great space to accommodate us all and even be able to enjoy the space even when he was sleeping. 15/10 recommend (even though I’d love to keep this property a secret)"

"The house was clean, well equipped, comfortable and convenient. Overall this house was one of our best short term rental experiences. However the screen porch needs repair to be able to enjoy it when the mosquitoes are out - most of the time - and some of that furniture needs replacing. "
