The water in the showers never got hot. Most of the furniture could be cleaned or replaced - especially the couch and bench at the table. Large enough to accommodate two couples, but small enough to feel homey and comfortable. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Everything you could need to cook a fun dinner was available. Paper products supplied. The airconditioning kept us comfortably cool in every room.. Two and half bathrooms was amazing. Meg is a wonderful host, quickly responsive. We didn't use the beach chairs and umbrella available in the beach box, but had detailed instructions about how to obtain them. Check in was the easiest we have EVER had in any VRBO. Also, the half bathroom smelled terrible the whole week we were there. We tried to identify where the odor was coming from but never found it, the other bathrooms did not smell. Half way through the week the central air was not working, only the fan was running. It was very hot, and the owner stated they spoke to multiple technicians and they said this was normal that in hot weather AC units may not be able to keep up. The owner did install two window units which helped with circulation. The owner looked at the central AC unit, changed the filter and said he didn’t see anything wrong. The owner also said an AC technician would stop by but we never saw one. While circulation in the unit helped the temperature never dropped below 76 degrees. With 4 kids including one under two this made for an uncomfortable experience especially when the outside temperature was over 90 degrees. This property is in the best location to walk 2 blocks to the Washington Street Mall and to bike to the beach. We really appreciated the stocked kitchen and bathrooms as they had all we needed. Also the ceiling fans in all the rooms were so nice to have along with the beach tags and the dedicated parking spots. The outdoor showers are really nice too. Such a clean, large property with 3 bathrooms. The owner was very nice as well. Easy walk to Washington Mall shops & dining, several blocks from the beach. We didn't have to drive at all. The location is perfect for adults. The property itself is absolutely beautiful & we really enjoyed evenings in the enclosed porch. The beds were very comfortable & everything we needed was supplied. The host was easy to reach for check in. We had a very comfortable stay in this condo. A block and a half from downtown shopping, bars and restaurants couldn’t be beat. Park your car and forget it! There is plenty of room in the condo. Beds and furniture are comfortable. Town is a short walk! Great for two people. The horse and carriages go by, which was really fun to see and hear. The condo was decorated in Christmas decorations, which was such a nice touch.
