El gran jardín cerrado de 50 'tiene vistas al río y al terraplén, ofreciendo una ubicación tranquila, con un amarre para embarcaciones y gradas a pocos metros de la cabaña. Una cocina nueva instalada en junio de 2019 con todas las aplicaciones nuevas. También un nuevo patio con jardín. En cuanto a las mascotas, un perro pequeño es bienvenido. Seis hermosas playas como Mwnt, Tresaith, Llangrannog y Poppit Sands están a poca distancia en coche. La cabaña está a poca distancia a pie de todos los servicios de la ciudad, como The Welsh Wildlife Centre y Theater Mwldan, que ofrece películas y espectáculos en vivo. Una visita obligada es la recién restaurada, Castillo Cardigan hogar del primer Eisteddfod en 1176 - el festival galés de la literatura, la música y el rendimiento. Suzie's house is beautiful - a lovely mix of cottage a new - with a large light and airy kitchen, great size bedrooms and modern shower and bathrooms. We had everything we needed. Great facilities, especially suited for families with older children. Open stairs not good for very young children I'd say. Centrally located and benefiting from being close by to lots of cafes, restaurants, pubs etc but also a very quiet end of town next to the river. Lovely walk to the wildlife centre and Poppit Sands is a 10 minute drive. The best beach ever for soft buttery sand and no rocks or stones. We enjoyed a lovely swim here. The cottage was a lovely base for us benefitting from both the old stone cottage and modern aspects of an extension with a lovely modern kitchen and bathrooms. Beds were comfy and we all felt recharged after out stay. Only grumble was that we forgot to bring bathroom towels so had to nip to Tesco for some. We were warned but forgot them. So much to do and see in the area. Susie's cottage was a perfect base for us. We would definitely return! ##### Janine H. We love Cardigan and the area - the weather was pretty rubbish for July/August but we all agreed Susie’s house was the best place you would want to be stuck indoors on a rainy summer’s day! Plenty of great places to eat in Cardigan (Copper Pot, Print Works especially) and loads of fab day trips within really easy reach - waterfalls, Mwnt, Penbryn, Poppit Sands, Teifi marshes (easy walk along the tow path), dolphin watching from New Quay, seal spotting at Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park. We all had a really lovely relaxing time. And although we didn’t have our dogs with us this time, the garden is lovely and would be secure for most dogs (except those who would choose to leap over 4 foot solid walls!) The Cottage only has 1 Bathroom with a toilet upstairs, No Dryer - a clothes horse , the bed is a Double. It is spacious in an excellent location. The kitchen is fairly new as is the Bathroom unfortunately this was let down by the cleanliness of the place. On the surface it did look clean but there were thick cobwebs/dirt everywhere & crumbs & dead flies under the microwave. There was a musty smell. The light shades over the island in the kitchen were particularly dirty . The side /top of the Freezer was very dirty . The Cooker Hood was thick with dirt . We did speak to the Owner who did send in the cleaner but she didn’t clean thoroughly This did spoil our holiday we were there for 2 wks, in the end I did some cleaning . But pulling all the hairs from the bath plug hole & finding a dirty sock & used tissues under the beds was the final straw we left early. I did speak to the Owner who apologised etc but didn’t offer any refund, we did pay a lot of money to stay here . I believe we are still waiting for a breakages refund ? ##### Caroline S. This property is well situated, so close to the town but the area is so quiet and tranquil where the house is. We visited lot's of places around Cardigan which was easy to find because we were central to all the places we wanted to visit. Really was a great holiday and would definitely visit again. Thankful for the old stone walls keeping the house cool during the hottest week of the year! The kitchen equipment could be extended, not enough glasses, non stick frying pan, champagne cork, and baking trays/roasting pans, coffee machine. For the price we paid we had expected a welcome basket and at least a coffee pod/ machine. The cottage doesn’t supply towels which is unusual but we were aware before, and still forgot them! But there is an excellent Factory shop in town. ##### sara G. The large, modern kitchen extension was just perfect for our group of 7\. It was bright and warm and very well equipped. The bathroom with shower/bath was also clean and modern. Couldnt have done more for us, was fab, and beautifully clean house. Great sunny garden and new kitchen-diner extension, v spacious master bedroom, all in a tucked away little stone fronted terrace. Loved putting our kayak on the river just over the wall of the back garden, and walking to have great craft beer and fab pizza at Pizzatipi. The Mexican street food takeaway is also fab, just 5 mins walk away. Easy to drive all along coastal path and to beaches. Recommend a stay here. ##### Zoe E. There is everything you need. The house easily held 7 of us, including 3 teenagers. There is a lovely mix of modern and cottage style. The location is fantastic, with Cardigan a really short walk. But it's also really quiet and tucked away. To add to this, the owner's communication went above and beyond what I would have expected. We loved our week here and didn't want to leave. Die Vermieterin war super nett. Sie gab uns Tipps für schöne Ausflüge - der Mwnt-Strand ist traumhaft - und erkundigte sich oft, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Vor Ort ist ebenfalls ein netter Ansprechpartner. Cardigan ist ein hübscher kleiner Ort mit netten Geschäften und guten Restaurants. Wir haben viele Ausflüge in auch in andere Orte unternommen. Auch Tenby war wunderschön. Nach einer Woche wurde die Bettwäsche gewechselt und ein "kleiner" Hausputz vorgenommen. Einziger kleiner Nachteil waren die Matrazen im unteren Schlafzimmer, sie sollten/könnten erneuert werden. Ansonsten war alles geschmackvoll und sauber eingerichtet. ##### Marco T.
