"Had a light large room with en suite, if you want fancy then this is not for you, the couple running it are very easy to talk to and very pleasant and helpful, breakfast was good, right in the centre of town. "

"Do book here if you'd like a warm welcome, clean sheets, tea and coffee with fresh milk in your room, an inclusive cooked breakfast, free parking, and a central location for a fraction of what you'll pay elsewhere in the town for room only.
Don't book here if recently refurbished fixtures, fittings, carpets, decoration and bathrooms are important to you. The owners are lovely, and have owned the place for close to half a century. Appreciate that."
"The homestead in a lovely period property with matching decor. The room was spotless, spacious with lovely en-suite facilities. Maria and Kevin, the hosts, are lovely people, very friendly and make you feel at ease as soon as you arrive. We stayed overnight as we were attending a wedding at Wennington Hall. Kevin very kindly offered to drop us off and pick us up when we were ready to return. This saved us a lot of hassle trying to arrange taxis to come out for just a short journey. Thanks Kevin you're a star. Next morning we had a superb full English breakfast with as many or few items we required expertly cooked to perfection by Maria. Just what we needed to prepare us for our journey home. The hotel is in a quiet location with private parking so no worrying about leaving your car in an insecure location. We would definitely return if visiting the area again and would recommend the Homestead to anyone looking to stay at a perfect venue. Thanks Maria and Kevin."
"Great value for money, excellent breakfast, lovely location, very clean and comfortable and would stay again. Downside, a lack of engagement with guests from staff"
"Super pub stay, nice bar, lovely staff, Ruben was especially helpful when we checked in. Bedroom very hot as if heating was on but luckily the fan supplied kept us cool enough. Restaurant was only open Thursday to Sunday but lots of great places to eat within 20 metres. Beer garden was a real treat."
