"Had a light large room with en suite, if you want fancy then this is not for you, the couple running it are very easy to talk to and very pleasant and helpful, breakfast was good, right in the centre of town. "

"There was a large car park and a lovely garden. The house is tucked away in a quiet part of Windermere but you can walk into town in 5-10 minutes. The choice at breakfast was great and the food was delicious. Very friendly and professional staff- could thoroughly recommend"

"Excellent stay at the Homestead as part of our short trip the Gaping Gill. Kevin and Marie are super hosts, the property is spotlessley clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is possibly the best that I have ever eaten at a UK hotel/B&B (I recommend the Spanish Tortilla/ Tostada). Iwould happily choose to stay here again."
"Gorgeous old pub with updated lovely comfortable rooms. Staff all lovely and the food was amazing had dinner and breakfast. Fabulous big beer garden too for the nice weather"
"What a fabulous week me and my family have had. The lakeside accommodation was perfect for us. The lodge was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The staff were friendly throughout our stay and I really liked the opt in messaging option where they messaged to keep you informed of anything happening.
The facilities on site were really good and we used them daily. Swimming baths, gym, sauna, steam room.
The food in the restaurant was really nice and the atmosphere was nice.
The watersports were a lot of fun. We did the flying disc and the paddleboarding."
"Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Shower was excellent although the fan in the bathroom was extremely noisy. The only downside about the hotel was there is no parking."
"Only had a short stay at this lovely little place
Staff very chatty/friendly
Had minor issue which was dealt with promptly and without any question or fuss
The breakfast choices were very good and cooked as you asked for it .. not just your average semi warm buffet, cooked fresh
The restaurant food was also very good with plenty of choices
Our bathroom was in need of some TLC but is due for upgrade - did not affect there was plenty of hot water, clean towels daily and lovely soaps etc already provided
Would definitely stay again
Thanks to all the staff again for all their hard work"
