“Terrible check-in. After a 3 hr journey I waited for approx 10mins at 'Reception' (a computer at the bar!) just wanting to find out where the hotel car-park was while a staff member had a long, long, discussion on the phone about a booking and my friend had pulled in to a lay-by outside. “The hotel is located inside the pub. I was one of the attic rooms and didn’t hear any noise from the pub. The Sunday roast is well worth it. I had the roast beef and it was delicious. My room was a twin bedroom. It was fine but there was no floor length mirror. The mirror on the dressing table you could manoeuvre but you couldn’t see your full outfit.
