"Great location, friendly staff, and excellent service. The room was very clean, tidy, and comfortable, with good facilities—all within walking distance. This hotel truly added value to our trip to Fukui. We highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again if we return to Fukui."

"The room was fairly large for Japan, and comfortable, I was on the top floor, non smoking comfort floor. And the breakfast was good. Staff was super. My only complaint is that because some floors were smoking, sometimes the lobby area smelled enough like cigarettes to give me a headache.
Location is good for new Shinkansen station. Sidewalks ok."

"Really amazing hotel. Convenient to town center and train station and local shops. Staff is super super nice, room was great, nothing to complain about. If I were in Fukui again I would stay here without a doubt. "

"This hotel room was comparable to a Western hotel room, in that it was spacious, with a larger tub, but fewer free amenities provided. Very powerful air conditioner was a nice break from the heat."

"Standard Japanese hotel (somewhat small room, onsen available, etc.), but the breakfast was great and they have a map of recommended places for dinner. There are a couple of parking spots at the hotel, a few more spots a block down the street, etc. (there's a map of parking spots on the side of the hotel). "

"Cheap hotel. Good for the price. Okay for a night. Good breakfast. Possibility for working space. Excellent location next to the station. "

"I had a great experience here! This is a budget business hotel so it is small but everything was as expected with the room but the staff was wonderful."

"The hotel is relatively short distance away from
Fukui station, about 12-15 minutes away. The hotel room is spacious except for the bathroom. The bathroom’s age is noticeably and if you are taller than 5’11, you will have a hard time fitting in the shower. "

"Great accessibility, steps from Fukui station. The free breakfast had a remarkable selection and is great to have, given that there are limited options open early in the morning. The room was very spacious and clean. Drugstore 10 minutes walk away for essentials and f some foods if needed. Several conveniences stores that are even closer (but more expensive). Many restaurants in walking distance as well as a department store. Solid choice!"
"Lovely getaway for an authentic Japanese Onsen bathing experience. The suite room was gorgeous and came with a private bath which was very worth it for me ! Many delicious local restaurant options nearby too. Staff knew enough English to get us settled. Highly recommend for 1-2 nights as part of your trip. "
"Friendly staff. We received a free gift of wooden chopsticks. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Walkable area, right by the river and near the large park."
"It was a lovely hotel. The village was so enjoyable and walkable. We loved the onsen!! Public onsen in the hotel so it was a little busy in the am but very quiet in the evening. "
"Has a sauna, cold bath, natural bath and hot bath.
Staff were excellent, and parking on the opposite side for about 1600 a night.
Right in the middle of a very bustling night life.
Although, windows on the 10th non smoking floor weee fastened shut and in early March the air on was very hot. Good for some.
Fukui is great area though, plenty to go and see in1hr around by car."
"Has the best breakfast but over the yrs it's now ltd.great location, free coffee from check in to check out time , the hotel is going down in repairs and condition.for the price Toyoko is cleaner .smoke is a major irritant
It needs a new carpet and housekeeping shud look at the dust beneath beds and the main bath drain is disgusting. But old timers and service is 5stars "
