One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The hotel room was really neat and fancy. Staff were kind. The breakfast was great. Nearby places to eat out as well. Has an indoor pool and sauna with a small gym room.

This is an excellent hotel. The rooms, staff and amenities are all First Rate. And the view from our room overlooking the Zoo was unbelievable. Who wakes up with Kangaroos running around just outside their window? Our only caution is it is a bit remote, far from public transit and walking through the pitch black Tiergarten at night is not an option.

Front desk staff members were generally attentive and friendly. Breakfast buffet had great selection—make sure to scan the QR code for customized freshly cooked egg options. Service was quite good as well. Location is quite central. Our stay was almost perfect but we were disappointed with our suite as it was not as pictured on the Expedia app, which was more modern looking and had better layout. The one we had was dated and had no separate space between the bed area and the living area. Front desk tried to remedy it but they were fully booked throughout our 3 nights stay. They gave us a complimentary prosecco after we expressed our disappointment as this was the first 5-star hotel we stayed in Europe, wherein the suite pictured on the website (in this case via Expedia app) did not match the actual room. We advised the front desk about this disconnect and to update their pictures on Expedia to include their dated rooms as we suspect the hotel was going through their renovation in stages. We just happened to be assigned the older suite.
