“This apartment was centrally located. The bed was comfortable. No AC but the fans worked well. There are lots of stairs to get to it so not easy with luggage but not terrible. The host is very nice and easy to work with. ”

“This is a beautiful former monastery high up above Monterosso. You need to contact the hotel in advance to make a shuttle reservation and they will pick you up near the train station. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar. Most of the other guests were hikers from the trail between towns. We sat outside at sunset with a glass of wine, admiring the beautiful view.
