"It's located in a small street but very close to main road. Quiet, great service, clean, free laundry, no breakfasts, elevator, great price, room too small for twin beds and difficult to open suitcases, old furniture, basic amenities, very helpful staff English speaker. Warmly recommend !"

"We stayed four nights at Long Hostel in a private room. It was very good value for money however the bed was very uncomfortable (needs a new mattress and a bigger duvet/sheet).
The shower also stopped working on the last day. We can’t complain too much as the breakfast was great, freshly cooked and it was such good value. Great location too!"

"Even though we only stayed one night as a transitional day to another city, it was a great night. The room was spotless and roomy. I did not hesitate to use the bathroom shower as it felt clean and stocked with all necessities. Location is convenient and close to city centre.

"The location is perfect, just a few minutes’ walk to Bui Vien Street but still quiet at night. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!"

"It was surprisingly clean. Room was small but it was on the cheaper side so that makes sense. The room on the top floor was actually amazing. It had everything and it was big"

"I am very disappointed with this hotel. It looks like someone who is working in the hotel had stolen my jacket. I hanged my jacket in the wall inside my room which I planned to wear it before I left but I had forgotten to do that. My wife had also confirmed that she remember I had hanged my jacket in the wall. I checked out at 4:00am in the morning to catch a morning flight. When I found out that I had left my jacket in my room at around 6:30am, I had contacted the hotel right the way from the...

"We had a great stay at M City Hotel in Saigon. The staff were friendly, attentive, and spoke great English. Minh was especially helpful, offering great suggestions on places to visit. We especially loved the pool as it was a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. I would definitely stay here again."
"You get exactly what you pay for. You want a LV hotel experience, safe, upscale, and hospitality like second to none, then this is the hotel to come to. You’re not saving money but the experience is something you can only get here. "
"Reading some of the negative comments made me wonder if those guests were even staying at the same hotel as I was. The Rex Hotel has been nothing short of exceptional—even before I arrived. If I could, I would give them 10 stars.
I missed my flight and couldn’t make it for the first two nights of my prepaid stay. The front desk team, especially Ms. Loan, worked tirelessly with Expedia to ensure my mom (who arrived earlier) could check in safely with my cousin on my behalf. That alone speaks volumes.
When I finally arrived, I was greeted by my first name, and the customer service was outstanding from the very start. I’m not sure why a guest complained about the staff not speaking English—I understood them perfectly. I switched to Vietnamese simply because I wanted to embrace the warmth of my native language.
My room was spotless, and the service everywhere was genuinely impressive—from housekeeping to the entire kitchen team on the 5th floor during the breakfast buffet. I also saw a complaint about the hotel not having a nail or hair spa on site. Is it that big of a deal? This city is full of them—including one directly across the street. Next time, just ask.
I loved it so much that I ended up extending my stay. In a city full of hotels, Rex should be number one on your list."
