The cleanliness in the room was very good, but in the shower I noticed black mold in a few places on the grout. I personally am not allergic to the mold but many people are. Genuine, friendly, happy - even the guy in the restaurant that served us a late dinner and then breakfast the following morning. I need some of that positive energy! We only stayed for one night, but thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The bar is really cosy and the breakfast is very generous. We just loved it here. Please don’t change a thing."

"Hotels don't often exceed expectations but the Priory did. From the moment we arrived we felt well looked after - the rooms were big, clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable and the restaurant was excellent. The level of hospitality was just right and we felt very welcomed. As a bonus, the garden was lovely - full of culinary plants, which I saw the chef cutting first thing, and beautifully kept. We felt that the staff really minded about the quality of their guests' experience in all areas and I hope this is reflected in this review."
