"Excellent stay at this hotel. It is updated, with AC that works well (and is quiet!) and good lighting. The blackout curtains really kept the light out. It is very close to the highway. The entire hotel was very clean, and I was impressed at how organized and tidy the breakfast area was. They wrap every two pieces of bread in plastic, which is pretty wasteful and not eco-friendly at all. The staff were all very nice. I would definitely stay here again. Don't expect to find a lot of restaurants nearby but the draw is how close it is to the highway."

"This is our second year for vacationing at this beautiful home. We so enjoyed the wrap around porch and eating and playing games on it. The fishing was great plenty of bass gill And perch. The home was immaculate and stocked with everything you would need to grill and cook already looking forward to next year‘s vacation there all I can say is perfect!!"

"We had a great time at the cottage. The kids loved the bunk bed room. There were plenty of bathrooms for everyone. The view of the lake was pretty and the neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed eating our meals out on the deck, which was covered so the rain didn't stop us. One draw back was there was a slight musty smell in the basement, but our teenager had no trouble sleeping down there or using the pool table. The dock was convenient and we enjoyed the kayaks as well. In addition to fishing, we also had fun with some area activities. The doughnuts at Yoder's Market were fantastic and we can't say enough good things about the Alligator Sanctuary in Athens. Overall, this was a great stay and we would recommend this place to others!"
