Easy checking-in at the front, Staff are tentative and friendly, Compact room but clean and well working facilities, We did not use swimming pool., Variety of breakfast choices but main course foods was not hot enough...everyday. Location is center of many main attraction and local markets and amenities near by. Overall we have had a happy stay.

Overall, the hotel was very nice with friendly staff; however, the rooms did not have hand soap for the bathrooms. I thought maybe they just forgot to put hand soap in our room so I asked the front desk about this and they said there just isn’t any. Again, very nice hotel but I would recommend they provide hand soap in the rooms.

Good location, clean and spacious room. Even though we stayed for 5 nights and the hotel did not seem busy we were given a room on a low floor with a window that looks straight onto their brick wall. The pool was green and unusable during our stay, but they were working on fixing this.

Good value but basic

We booked this hotel for the location. It is close to the clock tower and surrounded by temples and various food options. The hotel is reasonably priced and was a great value. However, the mattress is super hard and pillows are very thick. We didn't sleep well because of that. The breakfast was basic. I might not stay again.

Decent for short stay

Great location; short walk to clock tower and Night Bazaar with plenty of restaurants/ street food nearby. Breakfast is very limited. Coffee is very bad, can’t even drink it. Wi-Fi is very slow.

This is a new hotel that is absolutely fantastic. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and breakfast has lots of choices. The only problem we had was there were no English speaking channels on the TV, this is not normally a problem for us when we are travelling as we take an Amazon fire stick with us so we can access Netflix etc, however the Wi-Fi system would not let us use it, so quite frustrating. Maybe a Netflix App could be added to the TV so customers can use their own login. But other than that this hotel is fantastic.

The property is promoted as luxurious. Not so. Yes, there is a magnificent lobby, yes, some of the staff do their best to be helpful but: My room, on the second floor, had no window. There was what looked like a window, but all windows on the street side of the lower floors are covered up by an add-on facade. The room was clean and the bed was good. However, the only light in the room was from a glaring overhead lamp. No soft lighting, no reading lamp -- either on or off. There is no desk at an appropriate height for computer use or writing. The security box is tiny, too small for even a small laptop (MS Surface) There is a spacious restaurant/coffee shop in the lobby. However, it is open only for breakfast. There is an expensive upscale restaurant next door which isn't bad, but is not appropriate or convenient for snacks or quick meals and which doesn't serve alcohol. The unfailingly polite staff suddenly lost all their language skills when I asked for a different room on an upper floor, preferably one with better lighting. Thank God I was only here for 3 miserable days. Chiang Rai, by the way, is lovely.
