We came in town for a wedding at the Buccaneer Resort and this location could not have been more perfect! We absolutely LOVED staying at this property and would stay there again. Enid was super helpful and gracious! The views are unmatched! Thank you for making our St. Croix experience memorable!

Fantastic Stay at the White House!

We had a great stay on St. Croix. We had zero issues with the house during our stay, and it was set up perfectly for our needs. Check in and communication was top notch for the one or two times we had questions. Would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful home with individual suits

My two brothers and sister really enjoy having their own private spaces. With the four individual suites, each with their own restroom the home is perfect for the four of us. Listening to the ocean and the beautiful view makes every moment even better.

Best View in Shoys!

The best view in Shoys—Buck Island, Green Cay, and Shoys Beach in one view! Whole house A/C, comfortable rooms with large full bathrooms, well stocked kitchen, large clean gas grill, super clean pool, and cozy living room for evening family time made our stay amazing!! Centrally located on the island—convenient to beaches, groceries, and restaurants. Located in a gated community—the only noise was the constant breeze. Communication with host and property manager was exceptional. Check in and check out was so easy and accommodating—the entire house was cool and very clean. A bag of ice in the freezer and a water cooler with two, 5 gallon water containers was a classy touch!!We had 7 in our family—everyone was very comfortable, views from every room. We are already planning our next visit to the island and the White House is our first choice.

Fabulous house with incredible view!

Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving vacation week at The White House. The layout makes for privacy for everyone with nice common spaces. Beds were comfortable and decor very nice. The views are absolutely breathtaking!!!! House was well equipped with beach chairs and towels, kitchen necessities for cooking. We will be back—loved this house!

We love St Croix!

Beautiful house, great location!

House was just as described and a perfect set up for groups as it allows lots of privacy! The hills are definitely steep but it’s a great walking neighborhood and provides a great workout!

Vacation in paradise

We had a wonderful peaceful stay. We were close to everything on the island and easy access to the major towns! We had fun diving, on ATV tour, shopping and dining out. Be advised that this home has lots of stairs if you are mobility impaired.

Birthday Getaway

This is the perfect property for a group getaway!! Everything from the house, host, and property manager was 5 stars!! Lisa and Enid, who we contacted many times, were quick to give us recommendations for entertainment, food, beaches to explore, and other things we might want to do. I can't say enough about this house. Top notch all the way around!!

Wonderful location

If 4.5 stars was an option, I would have chosen that. We love the Shoy's area by the Buccaneer. The 1/2 star deduction would largely be due to no bathroom on the same level as the main kitchen/living room. It is a little odd to have to go downstairs from the main living area to use the restroom. The home if very well built. It is broken up into 3 separate areas, each with a King bed, one of which has an adjacent bedroom with twin beds. I would rank this as a negative for families with small children, but a positive for groups of adults who want their own space.The views are great. The only drawback is that for sunset junkies such as myself, the small balconies were where you needed to go for more unobstructed views. All in all, a good experience and we are strongly considering a return.

An Absolute Dream

If you have a large group, just book this place right now. It’s stunning and the view is too. Everything you need is right there. We had a group of 8 family members and we were all very comfortable, and honestly didnt want to leave. Chad and Lisa are stellar hosts, really good communicators and very helpful. I will say if anyone isn’t very mobile, there are quite a few stairs to climb, but no problem for us. Chad and Lisa, thank you so much for offering up such a magical place.

Amazing views, great location

We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again. Enid was wonderful in guiding us to the property and helping us during our stay. The pool was perfect for our kids and we loved being near Shoys beach and the Buccaneer. Nice neighborhood to walk in but it is hilly (I enjoyed that aspect, though). The only thing that we didn't understand from the property listing is that there are 3 separate units with the pool in the middle. This made the sleeping arrangements a bit challenging with kids. We couldn't use the primary suite (which was its own unit) as we were afraid our kids would run out to the pool area without us at night or in the morning.

Fantastic Home and Location

Excellent stay for our family of 8. The main home has great living and kitchen area where the family gathered during evenings for cooking, eating dinner and card games. There were 4 private rooms and bathrooms for everyone to retreat to when privacy or quiet time was needed. The views are spectacular from every room, views of Buck Island, Shoys, and Christiansted. The pool was great to come back to after a long day at the beach. Kitchen was well appointed, could use a little updating in utensils otherwise has many appliances (microwave, Ninja blender, toaster, coffee maker, etc). Beds were all comfortable to sleep in and each room had its own split AC which was very welcome by all on hot summer nights. Highly recommend this place, great value for the island. We have stayed at more than 7 places on St Croix and this was probably the best value with the best views.

Family Trip to St Croix

The White House was fantastic. We had some difficulties with our arrival (flight delays) and our car rental company (Centerline) was closed when we arrived. Lisa, the property manager, went above and beyond to help us get settled in at that late hour. She even personally drove us to the grocery store so we'd have enough provisions to get us through the night and following morning! The location within the Shoys is great. It's basically a large gated community. There is access to a mostly private beach and to the beaches at the Buccaneer Hotel (complete with bar, restaurant, beachside food and drink service, and games). The grocery and several restaurants are a short drive away. Also, the pool is outstanding. We would definitely stay at the White House again!

Perfect house!

•Group of 7 friends/couples (late twenties, early thirties) •Very private, quiet, never felt unsafe (gated community) •Attentive and accommodating owner/property manager •House was clean, everything you could need provided, luxurious feel (pictures speak for themselves) •Located at the top of a steep hill, not a comfortable walk to anywhere (definitely not walking to the beach from here) •Biggest “complaint” was since the house is made of multiple individual structures, that means locking multiple doors every time you leave. The doors were a bit finicky also, but this is not anything to be concerned about, just sharing feedback. •Awesome proximity to everything on the island •10/10 would stay here again

Island Birthday

My stay was AMAZING. We were greeted at the airport by Enid who was amazing through out our stay. Accommodating and reaching out daily checking in on us and providing us with suggestions and anything we needed. The home was absolutely amazing. The views. The pool. The rooms. Just all wonderful. To wake up every morning in paradise clouds so close you can almost touch them and don’t let me start talking about the amazing sunrise I saw every morning while lying in my bed. Looking at the stars and moon while floating in the private pool at night. I’m a beach girl that is what I came to the island for, but the house and pool was everything I needed never made it to the beach and did not miss it.

The perfect spot for my 40th!

Many months ago my husband asked what I wanted for my 40th birthday. My answer was simple, I wanted to turn forty somewhere warm and with a pool and with people I love. This eventually turned into planning the perfect vacation to St. Croix, starting with this house. The photos don’t lie. This place is incredible clean and well maintained. The view is the best we saw on the island. We had 7 adults staying (three couples, one single) and each room has its own full bathroom making it comfortable and private. The pool was a great hangout spot after a day of adventuring. Neighbors were quiet. There was a private event at the bottom of the hill one night and the music was an added bonus. Air conditioning worked great and cools quickly. Enid, the host/contact, met us at the airport and escorted us once we picked up our rental jeep from Centerline. This was super helpful as changing to driving in the opposite lane is a bit intimidating. Enid was available for the few needs we had and always pleasant and helpful. She is such a gem. The few hiccups we had were very minor and I don’t feel the need to share them publicly but I will give one example for how minor they were. The seal on the refrigerator doesn’t seal properly unless you hold it closed for several seconds. Not a big deal but a “quirk” of the place. Based on this experience, I would one hundred percent book here again and would rent from the property owner in other locations too. This was the perfect birthday vacation.
